Hygiene is the first rule.
Cleaning actions are recorded for transparency, but a missing record does not close rental. A maintenance requirement blocks the device until it is checked.
Pre-treatment
Before approval, staff must follow the exact model's manufacturer instructions and remove visible contamination using an allowed method.
Disinfection
Where the manufacturer instructions require disinfection, only the permitted method and product may be used on the listed surfaces.
Controlled storage
After the confirmed action, the device must be stored in a way that prevents new contamination before handover.

Hygiene-status changes and staff decisions are timestamped and auditable.
